Trust the reviews & don't order from Ray Ban official site

I can't believe the official Ray Ban site would be like this, but I had the same experience as other reviewers. They are TERRIBLE with returns. Bought glasses that were too big and sent them back. Never received a refund. Customer service said I had to wait a few weeks for it to process. Ok, I waited. ONE month later and still nothing. Called them again and a nice rep said it was PayPal's fault for not accepting the refund from their side. Suspicious. I eventually filed a dispute through PayPal, and PayPal helped me get my money back. You're better off buying Ray Bans at Macys or something, but stay away from the Ray Ban website!!

Wish I could leave less than once star SHAMBLES

Wish I could leave less than once star. Absolute Disgrace of a Company. I placed an order on the European Site for delivery to a European Address, paid in Euros, one week late Order still hadn't progressed emailled (you cant call them) multiple times requested a call back NOTHING. Finally called UK site several times they promised to investigate on multiple occasions and get back to me , instead they cancelled the order without even advising me. Placed the same order again, was told it was fine under a different email and the same thing happened again only this time they transferred both cancelled orders onto the original email. Cant believe you cant order a pair of Sunglasses to a European Site , pay by Paypal (so verified) shouldn't matter where the Paypal address is , My account debited and they behave like this. No explanation multiple failed promises and excuses NO CONTACT and they still haven't refunded my Money. Dont waste your time an utter disgrace of a company, shame is the sunglasses are great, however the service is unforgivably bad.

NEVER EVER

No response as to my order. Ordered a mixed version that should have arrived today, but haven't even received an email that confirmed that the parcel was shipped... Awful customer support, no response by email neither via chat assistant... no opportunity to claim a refund ($ 165) directly from the merchant
EDIT: will proceed with the chargeback procedure, will see how it goes (it takes up to 120 days)
2nd EDIT: Just a few days later I got my refund through the chargeback procedure (that was my first experience with it but it was super smooth). For all those who didn't get the refund from the merchant, I strongly advise you to google "chargeback procedure" and get your money back ASAP.
Just an example: I've used a virtual, disposable debit card from Revolut to pay, so I filled the "Revolut chargeback form" (simply google it).
Fortunately, every chargeback procedure is expensive for the merchants as the card issuer carries an investigation and keeps the charge from them. Hopefully, one time Ray Ban will be great again. For now, will stick to the local stores to buy sunglasses.
P.S. Satisfied that I got the refund, but really disappointed that I didn't get my wife customized sunglasses :(

Dodgy product steer clear

Dodgy product steer clear. My Raybans are just over a year old and the tint is peeling. Rayban Australia is refusing to help because I bought them from a different website.

Complete rip off

Complete rip off. I ordered a pair of aviators, standard lens, frame and tip colour but after the site sizing recommended I buy large I bought the larger size. When they arrived they were clearly too big and kept falling off my face. I tried to return them but was told they were custom models and therefore a refund or size exchange was out of the question. At no point during the sale was this made clear, I suspect probably buried in the small print somewhere. The customer staff laughed when I said so I will have to sell them on eBay. Have always liked the product but customer service is horrific.

Problems with delivery and very slow service

I ordered a pair of sunglasses on the 29th of November as a Christmas present. There was a problem with the delivery address and UPS failed to deliver (lost) the first pair. Ray Ban to their credit sent a second replacement pair, which UPS also managed to lose! Ray Ban refunded me and told me to place the order again with a discount code for the inconvenience. The code they gave me was invalid! I've been on the phone to them for the last 2 days to get a new discount code sent. Have been promised that it would be sent by the end of each day. Still yet to receive the code! And no sunglasses to show.

Product arrived with TONS of scratches in the frame

Ordered classic ray ban sunglasses Black Friday. Received order on time but with TONS of scratches to the plastic frames with the frame out of alignment. Paying big bucks, you’d expect quality. Have yet to contact customer service but hesitant to ship them back due to the amount of reviews on “lost” orders...

No product, no refund. Awful experience

I ordered a pair of sunglasses for my son May 23rd 2020, and as of October 7th 2020 I have still not received them. I emailed customer services who said they could not track the item, assumed it was lost and then offered me a refund. I still haven't received a refund. Despite sending numerous emails, I always get the same reply, " I have submitted your refund request to our back office. They will contact you and follow up. We appreciate your patience." It's absolutely shocking that 5 months later I have no product nor a refund. I have given up all hope of getting a refund. How can a company of this size and reputation get away with what is essentially theft?
As an update to my review, I have now received a full refund (October 2020) It took 5 months to resolve so I stand by my original review but at least I did get my money back!

Such a brilliant service

I purchased some sunglasses for a retailer, not direct from ray ban, over a year afterwards they broke. I rang the retailer who said they couldn’t do anything so contracted ray ban. Ray ban quickly repaired the glasses under a warranty I didn’t even know I had. Brilliant!

Terrible service

Terrible service. I ordered a frame online and after 10 days still hadn't been sent. I sent emails that were ignored and spoke with them per chat 3 times. Every time they sent a canned response saying that they have the frame but there's a problem with their system. Each time they assured that the order would be sent in the next 24-48 hours. After days of waiting, they sent an email saying that the order has been cancelled, without any explanation. The frame is still available to purchase online.
If you don't know how to run an online business, then simply don't have it. I won't be purchasing from Ray-Ban anymore, not even from 3rd party retailers.

Shocking experience...

Shocking experience...
Sent the wrong items, took ages to sort out a return and then they won’t refund my money as they say they haven’t received the return.
Disgusting performance for such a well known brand. I’ll never buy Ray-Ban ever again.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM DIRECT - BE WARNED!

Terrible customer service

The company states they have 60 days return policy however you are not able to create return label on their website. So I am stuck with 2 pairs of unused sunglasses and $280 for items I am not going to use.
